Der konzentrische MicroMist-Glaszerstäuber für geringe Probenmengen bietet hohe Leistung. Er eignet sich zur routinemäßigen Hg-Bestimmung mit ICP-MS und verringert Matrix-Effekte bei Einsatz der Cinnabar-Sprühkammer von Glass Expansion.

Alle MicroMist-Zerstäuber der U-Serie mit Probenzufuhrrate 0,2 ml/min werden mit Folgendem geliefert:
1 x NFT-050, UniFit-Stecker (Probenschlauch 0,50 mm Innen Ø x 1,3 mm Außen Ø x 700 mm Länge)

Alle MicroMist-Zerstäuber der U-Serie mit Probenzufuhrrate 0,05 ml/min werden mit Folgendem geliefert:
1 x NFT-025, UniFit-Stecker (Probenschlauch 0,25 mm Innen Ø x 1,3 mm Außen Ø x 700 mm Länge)

Alle MicroMist EzyFit-Zerstäuber mit Probenzufuhrrate 0,2 ml/min werden mit Folgendem geliefert:
1 x EZT-050, EzyFit-Stecker Probenschlauch 0,50 mm Innen Ø x 1,3 mm Außen Ø x 700 mm.

The Glass Expansion nebuliser you refer to in your recent e-mail, is it the MicroMist neb? We've been using this for about 18 months now, and are completely satisfied with it. We get very good RSDs on our isotope ratio measurements, we have very few blockage problems and presently I'm using it coupled to an LC system. As I mentioned earlier the MicroMist neb has given outstanding performance on a range of applications.

I would suggest the MicroMist nebulizer + Cinnabar spray chamber from Glass Expansion. I did some work on certification of Hg isotopic reference materials and it worked very well. I used this setup in the self-aspirating mode and gained wash-out times for Hg 10 ng/g (solution) 10 times better than with a usual Crossflow nebulizer.

After using a GE MicroMist nebulizer and Cinnibar spray chamber on our ICP-MS for several years with excellent results, I bought the same setup for our new PE 4300 ICP-OES for some applications with very small sample sizes. Sensitivity and precision are the same as with the standard cross-flow/Scott combination. Washout is maybe even better, since the Cinnibar washes out very nicely.
